You're on the right track Erica. Try to elaborate a bit more so that your peers can provide you with more constructive feedback. Why are these things important? Where are you on the path to accomplishing them?
I really like that you mentioned technology in your goals. I didn't think to mention that but it is definetly something we are going to have to be familiar and confident in using. I remember in CEP we learned about what a useful tool technology can be, so I think that is an important goal to have.
I really liked the goals you set for yourself. Your goal that focused on feeling confident in incorporating English language arts into other subjects is something I have not really thought much about. The idea of incorporating it into other subjects could really benefit your students. However, as much as it can be beneficial to your students it will be hard for you to plan. My CT has great literacy centers that incorporate many subjects into literacy. These centers could easily be elaborated into larger lessons that focus more on the other subject but still teach literacy.
I agree with Jessica i believe that not enough people think about how technology is going to be incorporated into the classrooms and it is important since technology is become more and more a part of everyones everyday life. I also agree and it was in my goals to about how to incorporate Literacy into other subject areas. I know that it is possible to incorporate most subjects into every other subject but i do not feel comfortable trying that yet. I agree with your goals.
